Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos heading to India

The regular Samsung Champ Duos isn’t good enough for every citizen of India? For folks who want something more, the Korean company announced Deluxe version of the device, simply called Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos.

The somewhat fancier lookin’ device keeps two SIM card slots to allow folks to use two networks at the same time, while the rest of the specs are unchanged (or so we think). In that sense, this little fella comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio, microSD card slot, and such pre-installed apps as social networking clients, web browser, media player and ChatON messaging service — all easily available from the TouchWiz Lite UI.

As for the price, Samsung said the new phone will cost Rs. 4,790 (around $98), though some retailers (like Flipkart) already have it listed for less – 3,925 (about $80).

Finally, in case you wonder, we’ve no idea whether the Champ Deluxe Duos will ever be sold outside of India…
