Samsung Rugby Smart

AT&T will soon add another low-to-mid end Android smartphone to its portfolio – Samsung Rubgy Smart. And while we don’t have all the details at the moment, we do know it’s one of those devices made for smartphone newbies, offering them cheap ticket to the Android world. In that sense, the Rugby Smart (model number SGH-I847) comes with HSPA 3G connectivity, 512MB of RAM, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show. Moreover, it may also sport an HVGA touchscreen, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a memory card slot.

All in all, nothing spectacular but decent enough for some $100, which will most likely be the phone’s price with some not that expensive plan. We’ll see…
